The National Consortium, est. 1931, has handed out prestigious distinctions to deserving individuals and organizations across the United States for nearly a century. We believe that excellence, both in public and private sectors, needs to be articulated, and further, minted in a way that bestows the honor, dignity, and grace inherent in all human triumph and innovation. We believe that a single action can make a difference in the community, and that collective action can greatly impact the world. Through formalized, vetted, and verifiable ranking algorithms, the National Consortium team works tirelessly each day to contribute their part to the greater good, handing out extensively researched awards to those most deserving.

We are a proud member of the National Panel of Consortiums (NPOC), where we make time to travel the country, attending and hosting conferences related to standardization, harmonization, and generalized guidance around community-supported excellence.
